<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a favorable composted product as a treated product after fermentation, easy to handle with no water leaching, by incorporating organic waste with a fermentation promoter consisting (mainly) of beet pulp to enable the fermentation promotion and moisture content control for the waste. SOLUTION: Organic matter to be treated such as organic waste is subjected to fermentation treatment by incorporating 100 pts.wt. of the organic matter with <=100 pts.wt. of a fermentation promoter consisting (mainly) of beet pulp <=50wt.% in moisture content. The fermentation treatment is conducted by putting the organic matter into a (e.g. plastic) closed vessel, accuumulating and covering it with a polyvinyl chloride-based sheet, or putting it into a composting vessel followed by aging. Thus, a composted product as a treated product after fermentation, easy to handle with no water leaching and favorable for plant growth, can be obtained.</p> |
