Mixer for forming batches of mixtures such as morta, concrete, or fertiliser includes a metering mechanism for metering components into the mixer and a self-cleaning conveyer for delivering the product to transport vehicles. When an outlet in the mixer is opened, all the product is discharged onto the conveyor by gravity. Different mixtures can be made immediately after one another.
