PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head device capable of accurately reproducing data recorded on optical disks in different recording density. SOLUTION: An optical head device is constituted of a low output laser device 24 arranged on a moving optical system 4 moving along a recording surface of an optical disk, a first objective lens 20 arranged on the moving optical system to image a laser beam of the low output device on an optical disk, and a second objective lens 30 arranged on the moving optical system to image on the optical disk a laser beam of a high output laser device 37 arranged on a fixed optical system 6. And, reflected laser beams emitted on the optical disk by each of the laser device and reflected on the corresponding recording surface of the optical disk are independently supplied to a data signal processing circuit 57, a focus control circuit 54, and a linear motor control circuit 52 by a change-over mechanism 43, 44 and 45 respectively. |
