SILVER HALIDE COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To obtain a color photographic sensitive material having improved sharpness and improved shelf stability at high temp. and humidity in the form of raw film and reducing fog during development by incorporating latex of a polymer coupler and a precursor of a photographically useful reagent into at least one silver halide emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:Latex of a polymer coupler and a precursor of a photographically useful reagent are incorporated into at least one silver halide emulsion layer of a silver halide color photographic sensitive material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer on the support. The precursor is directly added to a coating liq. for forming the emulsion layer. The precursor may be dissolved in a solvent exerting no unfavorable influence on the sensitive material, e.g., water or alcohol to a proper concn. before addition to the coating liq. The preferred concn. of the precursor is 1X10<-6>-1X10<-1>mol per 1mol silver halide. The coupler is used as a monomer or a copolymeriable monomer and the preferred concn. is 1X10<-2>-5X10<-1>mol per 1mol silver halide.
