PURPOSE:To rapidly and easily obtain a high quality to any long and variable density gradation by transmitting a light from a light source downward by the light quantity in accordance with the pattern of a slit. CONSTITUTION:A shadowing gradation generating device is travelled on a sheet-shaped sensitive material 32 on a table 33, the light of a light source 15 is made into the uniform luminance through a glass 18 for shadowing, the slit 16 of the desired pattern is transmitted, and the uniform continuous gradation corresponding to the pattern is formed at a sensitive material 32. Consequently, any long and variable density gradation can be generated with a good quality, rapidly and easily. |
