The pulse generator 4 consists of a casing 7 which slides by means of clamping jaws 8, 8' on the support of the measuring element, and a switching circuit encapsulated with a printed circuit card 13 in the said casing. The non-parallel sides of the trapezoidal casing 7 of the generator 4 each have three clamping jaws 8, 8', and an elastic arm 9 carrying a shaft 10 for fixing to the support is provided in the extension of one of these sides. The printed card 13 is of the SMC type and the casing 7 of the generator 4 is equipped with a second arm carrying the ratchet wheel of the meter disc. The invention facilitates the assembly and dismantling of an inductive pulse generator fixed to the support of the measuring element of a rotating-field electricity meter. <IMAGE>
