The invention relates to a method for screwing in and unscrewing a screw with the aid of a screwdriver, and screw and screwdriver with improved head for implementing the method. According to the invention, on the screw head 1, there are provided peripheral sections 3, 13, 7, 17 which are alternately hollow and projecting and these are made to interact with projecting and hollow sections provided in a complementary fashion on the screwdriver head.
