PURPOSE:To automate the collet mounting operation in a production line by furnishing a jig, which is to push down a retainer having a collet supply means, and an actuator which is to actuate the jig. CONSTITUTION:A jig 11 includes a retainer holder 11a to push down a retainer 8 and a bearing 11b to support a collet supply means 16, and a bearing housing 11c consisting of non-magnetic substance is fitted on said bearing part 11b. The jig 11 is supported slidably up and down by a rod 14 coupled with a piston 13 of a hydraulic actuator 12. In said collet supply means 16, a magnet is mounted on a holder 16c at the bottom of a shaft 16a, and a stopper 16b is installed at the top, and thus the means is movable within a vertical extent of distance between the bottom of stopper 16b and the oversurface of the bear ing part 11b. The magnet is equipped with a switch 17 which is so arranged as to be actuated when the top surface 2a of a valve system 2 comes in contact. |
