A control column of the joy-stick type has its main control-rod (12) suspended in the wall (16) of hermetically-sealed housing (14) by a moulded sphere (18) and is further equipped with a swivelling plate- or disc-shaped pressure element (15), which is positioned diametrally opposite the sphere. Pressure sensors (25) are arranged between the pressure element and the housing. At least one sensor is loaded axiparallely to the control column by the pressure element, and one other, transversely to the axis of the control column, with pressure-springs (22) tensioned between the pressure plate and the housing in the direction of the mechanical sensor-loading-stress.
