摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To eliminate shape disturbance and to obtain wire with high dimensional accuracy by learning an excessive control coefficient set in an arithmetic equation for draft control value by a dimension measuring instrument provided at a downstream of the lowermost down-stream rolling mill. CONSTITUTION:The 1st rolling mill drafts based on a draft conversion value corresponding to the value loaded on the gage meter of the 1st rolling mill. The loaded value is obtained by multiplying a vertical dimensional deviation caused by a difference between the average rolling load and the present rolling load of the 1st mill by an excessive control coefficient alpha and adding the resulting value thereto. Draft of the 2nd rolling mill is controlled continuously by a draft conversion value of the 2nd mill gage meter. Concurrently, the vertical dimensional deviation value of the 1st mill corresponding to every unit length of the wire rod 13 in the outlet side is store and tracked; a deviation from the target value of the width value is obtained based on outputs from a dimension measuring instrument 14 set at the downstream of the 2nd mill; an excessive control coefficient alpha is learned based on the ratio of that deviation to the tracking data.</p>
