The invention relates to a device for selectively attenuating oscillations of the equipment of a moving-coil speed indicator. The device comprises, connected to the terminals of the moving coil CM, means 1 for selectively attenuating the periodic component of pulses representing the speed data applied to the moving coil CM. The attenuation means 1 are controlled selectively as a function of the mean value of the pulses, and therefore of the speed to be indicated.
