PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of a pallet changer by installing the first and the second revolving shafts longitudinally within a base, and by furnishing the first and the second cylinder devices to serve pallet replacing operations or the like. CONSTITUTION:The first revolving shaft 44 is installed longitudinally within a base 34 of a pallet changer 10, and there also is installed the second revolving shaft 46 concentrically threrewith in such a way as surrounding it. The first and the second cylinder devices to serve pallet replacing operations or the like are installed in such an arrangement as stretching out sideways at the lower case 36 and upper case 38, which constitute part of said base 34. All necessary motions are obtained by the use of these two cylinder devices as the drive motive. This ensures that pallet replacement is performed with comparatively simple configuration and operating mechanisms, and it also provides practicability to incorporate in any existing machine tool. |
