A gripping piece for a manually operated instrument, especially a surgical microinstrument actuable by a longitudinally movable actuation rod, comprises - an elongate supporting body (12); - a multiplicity of elongate springs (14) which extend along the supporting body (12) and are each fixed by one end (14a) on the supporting body, while they are coupled on their other end (14b) with a sliding piece (32) which is mounted so as to be longitudinally displaceable relative to the supporting body (12), contain a central part (14c) curved outwards from the supporting body and lie in planes extending through the axis of the supporting body and essentially have the same mutual angular distances; - a device (42) for coupling of the actuation rod (40) with the sliding piece (32), and - a flexible sheath (44) surrounding the curved parts (14c) of the springs (14). <IMAGE> |
