<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled ink having excellent weather resistance, heat resistance, etc., by mixing a pigment with a polysiloxane resin and an org. resin so as to give a viscosity in a particular range. CONSTITUTION:A pigment (e.g., azo pigment or carbon black) is mixed with a polysiloxane resin and an org. solvent (e.g., ethanol or methyl cellosolve) to obtain an intended oily pigment ink for writing utensils having a viscosity in the range of 1.5-50cps. The polysiloxane resin is a polymer having a siloxane linkage in its molecule. It is produced by dehydration of silanediol silanetriol, hydrolysis and condensation of dihalogenosilane or trihalogenosilane, etc. A suitable amt. of the polysiloxane resin is 1-40wt% based on the total amt. of the ink.</p> |
