In a method for the preparation of a model cast prosthesis, a casting funnel (6) with casting channels (7), a plate or a bracket (3) with clamps (4) and, if appropriate, retainers of combustible materials being connected to one another after measurement and fitting into a model, these materials are surrounded by a refractory embedding composition and a muffle and then fused. The model used is the master model (1), the undercuts being milled at least approximately down to the clamp contact zone in the region of the fastening points of the lower arms (5) of the clamps (4) on the master model teeth (2) concerned, and thereafter deformable thermoreversible or light-curing plastics being fitted into the master model (1) as combustible materials. <IMAGE>
