The present invention relates to a plastics or plastic-containing film web consisting of a sealable layer or sealable film based on a polymer of ethylene and acrylic acid and/or methacrylic acid with an acrylic acid content and/or methacrylic acid content of 2-20% by weight, preferably 6-15% by weight, and a plastics support layer or plastics support film, the melt flow index of the sealable layer or seal film (2.16kg, 190 DEG C, 10 min.) being 0.5-30, preferably 1.5-15 and the support layer or support film being composed of plastics blends or plastics alloys which consist of ethylene-propylene copolymer (EPM) and/or ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer (EPDM) and one or more polyolefins as main component and, if appropriate, a further plastics homopolymer, copolymer or terpolymer, and, if appropriate, additives, fillers, pigments, flame retardants and/or processing auxiliaries. The composite film web serves for coating or covering plastics foams, plastics foam bodies and foamed hollow cylinders.
