<p>PURPOSE:To make the maintenance operation of electrical apparatus, etc. easy by bringing the mist supplied from a mist generator into contact with the air sucked into a device to dissolve the water soluble corrosive gas contained in the air then sticking the dissolved mist to a filter thereby removing the mist. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic wave generator 5 is first driven to generate the mist 20 from the clean water in a vessel 4 and is filled in a mist chamber 3 in the case of applying this device to, for example, an air cooler in an electric room. The mist is generated at a rate of >=50ml/m<3>/h in this stage. The air in the electric room flows toward an arrow 21 and is sucked into a dustproofing filter 2 by which the dust is removed therefrom, when the air cooler 10 in the room is driven. The air flows into the mist chamber 3 where the air contacts with the mist 20 and the corrosive gas contained in the air is dissolved by the mist. The air contg. the dissolved mist is thereafter admitted into a mist removing filter 6 so that the mist 20 sticks onto the filter 6. The mist drops from the filter and is discharged from a drain pipe 7 to the outside.</p> |
