PURPOSE:To make the entire system simple and accurate and to eliminate accumulation of errors, by detecting the magnetic intensities of magnets, which are embedded in the front wheels of a vehicle, by a plurality of detecting elements. CONSTITUTION:When front wheels are rotated, magnets, which are embedded in the front wheels, are approached to or separated from magnetism detecting elements 1-5 and 11-15. Thus the magnitudes of the electric outputs of the elements 1-5 and 11-15 are changed. The maximum value of the electric output is changed by the angle of each front wheel. Then, the outputs of the elements 15-5 and 11-15 are amplified by an amplifier part 41 and converted into digital values in an A/D converter part 41. The values are inputted to an operating part CPU 43. Starting data at the time of starting is imparted to the CPU from an input part 46. The outputs of the elements 1-5 and 11-15 give the slant angles of the wheels in the right and left directions. The slant angles and the numbers of rotations of the front wheels are computed in the CPU and outputted. In a memory part 47, map data including the running range of the vehicle are stored. The map data are inputted in the CPU. After processing, the data are displayed on a display part 45 through a display driving part 44. |
