Devices for the reproduction of optical storage discs are being used increasingly for the reproduction of films, audio works and digital data. In this connection, the field of use of such reproduction devices (1) is also being constantly broadened. For example, there is now a trend towards also using CD players for entertainment while travelling, now that the overall dimensions of such a reproduction device have been reduced to a sufficiently small size for such an intended purpose. For these portable reproduction devices (1) it is proposed that they be provided with a disc store in the form of a lower or upper attachment (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d), the lower or upper attachment then forming a portable three-dimensional unit together with the player housing (1a). <IMAGE>
