The invention relates to an article package which is composed of a plurality of elements produced from cardboard blanks. The object of the invention is to provide an article package which can be produced solely from cardboard for sensitive articles, which allows the article to be displayed to the customer without opening the package. The invention consists in that the article package consists of at least five elements which are fitted together to form a cuboid, in particular a cube, at least four elements of which have a pyramid or truncated-pyramid shape, rest against one another with their outer pyramid surfaces and, with their base edges, form the edges of a cuboid, in that these four elements have cutouts for receiving the article to be packaged, and in that the fifth body at least partially surrounds and holds together the other four elements.
