<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a developer from being spilt into a machine when the copying machine is opened and closed, by providing an aperture part of a developing device in the side opposite to a supporting shaft of opening and closing. CONSTITUTION:In the copying machine of opening and closing type, an upper frame 2 is inclined when the machine is opened and closed; and therefore, an aperture part 10 apts to turn down at the opening time by the installation position of a developing device 9. Then, the developing device 9 so arranged that the aperture part 10 is directed to the direction opposite to the supporting shaft of opening and closing, namely, to the left in the figure. Consequently, when the copying machine is opened, the aperture part 10 of the developing device 9 is turned up, and a fear of spilling of a toner 11 from the device 9 is eliminated completely. The position of the developing device 9 is raised up to such limit that the toner 11 is not spilt when the copying machine is closed, and the height of a copying machine body 1 is reduced by this raising.</p> |
