PURPOSE:To greatly stabilize rinse water and a stabilizing solution without impairing stability of an image by incorporating at least one of hexahydrotriazine compounds in the rinse water or stabilizing solution in a bleach-fixing step or in the subsequent step. CONSTITUTION:In the process for continuously developing an imagewise exposed silver halide color photographic sensitive material, the rinse water or the stabilizing solution used in the bleach-fixing solution or the subsequent steps contains at least one of hexahydrotriazine compounds represented by the formula shown on the right, each of R1, R2 being H or a substituent, preferably, in an amount of 1X10<-5>-1.0 mol, especially, 1X10<-4>-2X10<-2> mol per l of the rinse water or stabilizing solution. It is preferred to use it in combination with a surfactant, such as an anionic, cationic, nonionic, or amphoteric surfactant, preferably an anionic surfactant above all in order to more enhance the stability of the rinse water. |
