Solar heating system for buildings with heat-storing structural masses arranged in the interior of the building and an outer skin which is permeable to incoming radiation. This solar heating system is characterised by a plate-shaped design of the outer skin with in each case one cover layer made of light-permeable material on the outside and inside of the outer skin and, arranged in between, parallel ribs which run essentially horizontally in their longitudinal direction and which are separated by intermediate spaces and taper in such a manner that, in the interaction between ribs and intermediate spaces, funnel-shaped radiation concentrators are formed which select and reflect incident radiation with regard to its angle of incidence and which lead, in the direction of the interior of the building, to narrow light outlets directed towards the heat-storing structural masses, the area remaining between the light outlets being provided with a reflective coating which acts in the direction of the interior of the building.
