PURPOSE:To obtain a light penetration part which is superior in water-tightness and a small light transmission loss, by pressing a light-transmissive pressure plate to the high pressure-side pressure receiving face of a pressure wall through a seal ring and closing water-tightly one end of a through hole and arranging a pair of lenses on the outside and the inside of the plate so that they face each other. CONSTITUTION:In the light penetration part, a pressure wall of a vessel is provided with a through hole 11 and a groove 12 which is placed on the high pressure-side pressure receiving face and surrounds the aperture of a hole 11, and an O ring 13 is put in the groove 12, and a light-transmissive pressure plate 14 is provided on this O ring 13. Self-focusing lenses 16 and 16' held in the center hole of a protective metallic tool 15' which has one end held in the center hole of a protective metallic tool 15 and has the other inserted to the through hole 11 are arranged on both sides of the light-transmissive pressure plate 14 so that they face each other, and a high pressure- side optical fiber 2 is connected to the lens 16 and a low pressure-side optical fiber 2' is connected to the lens 16'. It is preferable that the light-transmissive pressure plate 14 consists of materials of very high light transmissivity like a ZnSe compound semiconductor or a quartz glass. |
