PURPOSE:To enclose the suspended paint mist by providing an intermediate air curtain chamber between a spray chamber and the outermost air curtain chamber, blowing air into the spray chamber with a free passage and circulating the separated air to the air curtain chamber. CONSTITUTION:With respect to a coating chamber, the outermost air curtain chamber 13 is provided at both end parts on the axis of a spray chamber 17 and intermediate air curtain chambers 14 and 15 are furnished between the spray chamber 17 and the outermost air curtain chamber 13. Blow-off ducts of the spray chamber 17 are arranged between the side wall and the rear wall at intervals and air is freely circulated through the duct and the space between the side wall and the rear wall. Then the air is separated from the paint in a separator, returned to the blow-off duct of the air curtain chambers 14 and 15 and reused. Consequently, the suspended paint mist-contg. air is sucked and circulated in the system and the mist is enclosed.
