PURPOSE:To prevent any increase in the internal resistance of an organic electrolyte secondary battery and greatly improve its performance by using a plastic electrode and an alkali metal or alkaline metal earth electrode which have been removed from an electrolytic container immediately after they were produced by electrolytic polymerization. CONSTITUTION:A plastic electrode and an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal electrode produced by a electrolytic polymerization are removed from an electrolytic container within one minute after the electrolytic polymerization. Therefore, there is only a short time for a conductive macromolecular material constituting the plastic electrode to adhere to the surface of the alkali metal or alkaline earth metal. As a result, almost no or only a very small amount of the conductive macromolecular material adheres to the surface of the alkali metal or alkaline earth metal electrode, thereby preventing any increase in the internal resistance of the electrode and improving the performance of the battery. |
