PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering in the capacity of a catalyst, by injecting air into a part, which is in the upstream side of a catalyst and in the downstream side of an exhaust gas generating source, by utilizing the air line of an ammonia injection system. CONSTITUTION:At the time of drying, a fan or for use in dilution is operated to inject air from the jet nozzle 8 of an NH3 injection nozzle 4 and air is flowed through the catalyst present in the downstream side of the nozzle. An exhaust gas measuring seat 10 is provided in the upstream side of a denitration catalyst and temporarily provided piping such as a rubber hose is inserted into the measuring seat 10 from air piping to enable the injection of air. |
