PURPOSE:A novel plant growth regulator, containing at least one or two or more of substituted ethanolamine derivatives and acid addition salts thereof and useful for carrying out effciently photosynthesis. CONSTITUTION:A plant growth regulator, containing at least one or two or more compounds consisting of a compound expressed by formula I [R1 and R2 are H, CH3, 2-4C alkyl, phenyl or benzyl or R1 and R2 together represent cyclized -(CH2)4- or -(CH2)5-, etc.] and acid addition salt thereof and a compound expressed by formula II (R1' and R2' are groups except H and CH3 in R1 and R2; R3 is CH3, 2-4C alkyl, alkenyl or benzyl) and acid addition salt thereof and a compound expressed by formula III (R4 is phenyl, ethoxyethyl, cyclopropylmethyl or acetonyl) and acid addition salt thereof and capable of promoting the rooting, rearing good seedlings, promoting initial growth and increasing the yield of rice plants, wheats, barleys, sugar beets, sweet potatoes, potatoes, onions, corns, sugar canes, etc. |
