PURPOSE:To reduce drive power by supplying powers from a capacitor for a power source to a poloidal load and from part of a motor generator for a poloidal power source to a load for a heater during a small load. CONSTITUTION:Powers are supplied from motor generator GP1-GPn for poloidal power source to a poloidal load P and from motor generator GN for a heater to a heater load N during a plasma current exciting time T1. The energy of the poloidal coil is regenerated during a plasma current stopping time T3, the generators GP1-GPn are accelerated by the regenerative energy as motors and stores as rotary energy. When the load N is small, power is supplied from part of the generators GP1-GPn to the load N, and when the load P is small, power is supplied from the capacitor C for the power source to the load P. |
