SMALL SIZE GENERATING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To remove stagnation of air flow by constructing passages of the cooling air produced by a cooling fan so that the air flows to one direction from inlet holes in a side wall of the casing of an engine to the outlet holes in the other side wall. CONSTITUTION:When an engine 3 operates a cooling fan 50 is rotated and causes a cooling air 59a flowing through inside of a generator 4 and a cooling air 59b flowing through outside of the generator 4 by way of inlet holes 21 in a recoil starter 20 from inlet holes 55 in a casing 1 and cools the generator 4. An air deflector surface 57 on a combustion tank 23 turns the direction of the confluent flow of the air 59a and 59b to cool an engine 3. Thereafter, the air passes through a muffler 31 and goes out of the casing 1 through exhaust holes 56. By this construction the cooling air flows without causing any stagnation.
