PURPOSE:To simultaneously subject a composite PS plate and another PS plate to a developing process by providing a unit part for inserting a photosensitive lithographic printing plate between the 1st developing part for image forming and the 2nd developing for resist image forming. CONSTITUTION:The composite PS plate constituted by providing a silver iodobromide emulsion layer, etc. on a positive type photosensitive PS plate is fed to the 1st developing part 101 where a developing soln. is passed from a nozzle 8 to develop said plate. The plate is then fixed in a fixing part 103 and the silver image of a silver halide photosensitive layer is exposed in a UV exposing part 104. The image is exposed and transferred to a positive type photosensitive resin. The silver image and gelatin film are then removed in a film dissolving part 105. The plate is inspected in a unit part 106 and is fed to the 2nd developing part 102 where the developing soln. is passed from a nozzle 29 to develop the plate and to form the resist image. An insertion part 39 is provided to the unit part 106 and the positive type photosensitive PS plate is inserted therein and is developed by the 2nd developing part 102, by which the resist image is formed. Since the unit part 106 is provided, the developing process of the composite type lithographic printing plate and PS plate is executed with one process machine. |
