PURPOSE:To enable fine adjustment by facilitating the adjustment of dot density, by allowing the printing liquid, which is supplied into an ink jet head so as to fill the same, to have pressure by providing a liquid pressurizing means. CONSTITUTION:An ink storage tank 3 is provided and the lid body 11 thereof is formed into a falling lid type up-and-down movable one. One end of a swingable link 13 revolving around the fulcrum 12 outside the tank is connected to the lid body 11 through a connection lever 14 and a wt. 15 is also provided to the other end of the link 13 in a slidable manner. The lid body 11 is heavier than the wt. 15 and downwardly presses the printing liquid 5 in the ink storage tank 3 and, therefore, the printing liquid 5 is supplied to a head inner chamber 2 so as to fill the same in a required pressure applied state. By this mechanism, the vibration of a vibration generation means 6 is propagated to the head inner chamber 2 through a fine string 9 and a part of the printing liquid 5 is formed into printing liquid droplets by synergistic pressure of pressure force due to this vibration and the accumulated pressure of the printing liquid 5 and injected from a nozzle 7 to print dots to a paper surface. |
