发明名称 THERMAL TRANSFER MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To sensure a superior printing capability even with a thermal head with lower energy and to prevent irregularities on an ink coated surface, by applying a specific hot melt ink on a base film. CONSTITUTION:A hot melt ink mainly composed of hot melt imide compound is applied on a substrate. With a transfer material of this construction, even a thermal head with lower energy can provide recorded matter with adequate resolution and non-recorded portion free from ink stain. Futhermore, even with a rough paper, an uniform recorded matter without ink missing portion can be obtained. An ink coated surface has no irregularities and the shelf stability of the ink can be ensured. The hot melt imide compound, an imide compound capable of being hot melted and heat transferred by heat from the thermal head, is preferably selected from among phthalimide, maleimide, succinimide, and the like.
