CONSTITUTION:The opposite-ship information on the position, speed, and course of the opposite ship is calculated 2 on the basis of the detection signal obtained by a ship peripheral state searching device 1 such as a radar and a sonar. Then, marine chart information 8 on a waterway, a sunken rock, etc., and the marine traffic rule 7 are inputted together with the opposite ship information and the future movement of the opposite ship is estimated 3.
