PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sharply reduce a program, and shorten a calculating time by analyzing an electric circuit by substituting a discharge phenomenon for an equivalent electric circuit, and calculating a parameter necessary for discharge light emission from this analytical result. SOLUTION: A device is made for analysis on a circuit simulator by wholly substituting simultaneous equations to express a discharge phenomenon for a circuit by the electric circuit-like analogy. That is, an equivalent circuit is set on the circuit simulator so as to satisfy a boundary condition, and a steady condition of discharge is calculated by performing DC analysis on this. In this case, the equivalent circuit is only set in a program, a calculating process to solve the equations themselves is not contained at all. Therefore, the program is simplified, and a physical meaning of respective circuit elements also becomes clearer, and a program quantity itself can be reduced more than the one written by FORTRAN language. |
