PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appearance of a duct on a buckle side, and to prevent ingress of the dust from its opening in an occupant protective device in which an inflatable bag is stored inside a belt to constrain an occupant in a collision of a vehicle. SOLUTION: In an occupant protective device, an outlet opening 331 facing the outside of a vehicle body which is formed on a tip of a duct 28 on the buckle side is connected to an inlet opening 183 facing the inside of the vehicle body which is formed on the tip of a duct 18 on the tongue side, the gas generated by an inflator 11 is supplied to a shoulder belt 6 from the duct 28 on the buckle side through the duct 18 on the tongue side in the collision of a vehicle to inflate a bag stored in the shoulder belt 6. Because the outlet opening 331 of the duct 28 on the buckle side is opened not upward but horizontally in the opposite direction of an occupant sitting on a seat, the outlet opening 331 is not seen directly by the occupant, the appearance is improved, and the dust does not easily enter from the outlet opening 331 even when no lid is provided on the outlet opening 331 . |
