<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an information display device which eliminates the need to move a cursor up to the menu bar at the top of a screen by displaying a dialog box where a menu is displayed when an operation button for displaying the menu showing executable process contents on the screen is displayed. SOLUTION: A remote control unit is equipped with a selection button 43 at the right end of an upper surface, a decision button 44 at the left end, and various operation buttons 45 at the center part as shown in the picture 42 displayed at the lower part of the initial screen. The operation button 45 includes the operation button 45a for displaying a pop-up menu (dialog box) 48 where the menu is displayed. Consequently, the cursor need not be moved up to the menu bar at the top of the screen so as to use a tool button, which can speedily be used to select the menu.</p> |
