PURPOSE:To obtain a polyacetal composition which exhibits excellent impact properties and maintains high strength and stiffness, by compounding a polyacetal, an acetal copolymer having a specified composition, and an ethylene- propylene copolymer, etc. CONSTITUTION:1.5-90wt% polyacetal (A); 97,5-5wt% acetal copolymer (B) with a number-averange molecular weight of 10,000-500,000, composed of a polyacetal part, and a thermoplastic elastomer part with a second-order transition temperature of -120-+40 deg.C, containing soft segments and hard segments; and 1-40wt% ethylene-propylene copolymer of ethylene-proplylene-diene terpolymer (C) are compound to give the objective polyacetal composition. An example of component B is polyacetal.polystyrene-polybutadiene block copolymer. |
