The base of the house (1) has a horizontal upper surface and prefabricated load bearing units at least forming the exterior walls and the interior partitions. The in-situ base has horizontal metal profiles (5) on its periphery which are given assembly devices for fixing the exterior walls (10) and a concrete slab (7) is cast inside the profiles. - Factory made prefabricated load bearing panels are given assembly fixations, carpentry gear, thermal insulation, and conduits. Ground or wall claddings are provided in or on the panels. The panels are placed on the base and are joined to it and/or to each other.
