PURPOSE:To prevent generation of vibration noise, etc., by varying the characteristic frequency of a vibration attenuator in comparison with an aimed resonance frequency and damping the torsional vibration of a rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:When a supporting body 1 formed integrally with a rotary shaft is revolved, a massive body 2 is turn through an elastic body 3 and a transmission plate 4, and a sensor 13 detects the displacement quantity from the resonance between the supporting body 1 and the massive body 2. A control part 8 calculates the resonance frequency, and the value is compared with an aimed resonance frequency, and the transfer quantity of the massive body 2 is obtained through the previously prepared calculation, and a stepping motor 7 is driven by the signal due to the transfer quantity, and one edge shaft stop part 11 of a lever 6 is shifted in the direction of arrow by the revolution of a shaft 16 due to the drive of the stepping motor 7. The shift transfers the other edge around a shaft 10, and the massive body 2 is held by the distance corresponding to a proper quantity (l) right and left through a thrust bearing 12. Therefore, a damping device can execute the damping in the proper torsional vibration. |
