METHOD FOR FORMING SYNTHETIC IMAGE CONTAINING 2-DIMENSIONAL PICTURE AND 3-DIMENSIONAL FORM

PURPOSE:To obtain a synthetic image of a 2-dimensional picture and a 3-dimensional form by synthesizing a 2-dimensional projection image and an input 2-dimensional picture and displaying them on a display device. CONSTITUTION:The picture data supplied from a picture input device 1 which fetches a 2-dimensional background picture of a landscape photo, etc. is given to an arithmetic unit 2 and stored in a memory. A coordinate input device 3 and a numerical value input device 4 are connected to the unit 2 as other input means. Then a primitive pattern itself to be synthesized with the 2-dimensional picture supplied from the device 1 is supplied or a primitive pattern given previously as a program is converted. The picture data on the unit 2 is given to a display device 5 and displayed there. Thus it is possible to convert the primitive pattern by an interactive system while observing the picture displayed on the device 5.
