PURPOSE:To make image forming stages easily continuous and automatic by continuously conveying a long-sized laminate contg. horizontally arranged substrates to patternwise exposing and developing stages without cutting into the substrates so as to carry out intermittent patternwise exposure and development at every substrate. CONSTITUTION:Long-sized image forming materials 2, 2 are continuously laminated on both sides of plural substrates 1,1,... cut to a prescribed size with laminating rolls 3, 3 to obtain a long-sized laminate 4. This laminate 4 is continuously conveyed to a patternwise exposing stage without cutting into the substrates, and in the exposing stage, intermittent patternwise exposure through originals 5, 5 is carried out at every substrate. The laminate 4 is then conveyed to a developing stage, where intermittent development is carried out at every substrate. |
