PURPOSE:To make a proper shift-up indication attainable all the time even under the low air density condition at the time of driving on highland, etc., by making the setting value in an engine load comparing device the smaller in valve the lower in suction air density. CONSTITUTION:A device bearing the above caption compares the speed detection value by an engine speed detecting device with the speed setting value by a speed setting value generating device 2 by a speed comparing device 3. Also, it compares the load detection value by a load detecting device 4 with the load setting value by a load setting value generating device 5 by a load comparing device 6. And, when the speed detection value is larger than the setting value and the load detection value is smaller than the setting value, a shift-up indicating device 7 is operated. In this case, there is provided with an air density detecting device 8 which detects the density of suction air, and it is constituted so as to cause the load detection value being generated at the generating device 5 to be the smaller the lower in the detection value of air density. |
