<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the removal ratio of a dirty suspended substance, by arranging a bacteria immobilized body between bacteria immobilized bodies and not only passing a treating liquid through the gaps between bacteria immobilized bodies but also supplying oxygen to bacteria fixed surfaces through the bacteria immobilized bodies. CONSTITUTION:Sewage issued from an inflow pipe 45 is accumulated in a sedimentation tank 9 and supplied into a treatment tank 1 by a supply pump 13. Air or oxygen is supplied in bacteria immobilized bodies 3 of a biological filter 2. The sewage passes between biological membranes 50 formed of aerobic bacteria 46 to remove the dirty suspended substance in the sewage. Anaerobic bacteria 47 are generated in parts separated from the bacteria immobilized bodies 3 to promote the fixation of nitrogen and phosphorus etc. The treated water is stored in a treated water tank 12 by a treated water withdrawal pump 34 and discharged by a discharge pipe 43. By this method, the removal rate of the dirty suspended substance is enhanced.</p> |
