PURPOSE:To form a semiconductor integrated circuit operated at a higher frequency by increasing the drive capability of an active element of a timing signal forming section more than that of other sections. CONSTITUTION:A gate width of a FET constituting a timing generating circuit 11 is twice that of a FET constituting an 8:1 multiplexer 12. It is required for an output section of a timing signal generating circuit 11 to drive uniformly four four-input NOR circuits of a multiplexer section, since number of fan-out is, four which is a large number and the length of wire is longer, the gate width of all FETs of the timing signal generating circuit is constituted of the gate width twice that of the FETs constituting the multiplexer. |
