PURPOSE:To obtain a fibrillated film body having uniform thickness and to make it possible to control freely the transverse width, by coinciding the londitudinal direction of a take roll the oblong direction of first guide member with the expanding and contracting directions of second guide member, each of which have convex curved surfaces at both side parts. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical foamed fibrillated body 7 which is forwarded from a ring-shaped slit 6 is guided and deformed by a first guide member 8 into a long cylindrical shape. It is then guided and deformed by second guide members 12, 12 into oblongly long cylindrical shape. Thereafter it is taken-up by rolls 20, 20 and formed into a fibrillated film body 7', then would with a wind-up machine 21. As both side parts of members 8, 12, 12 are convex curved surfaces, the fibrillated shape 7 is smoothly guided without damages and unnecessary wrinkle or overlapping do not occur. Additionally, fibrillated shape 7' having uniform thickness is formed because it is guided and gradually deformed by members 8, 12, 12 where the oblong direction of the fibrillated shape 7' corresponds with the longitudinal directions of rolls 20, 20. It is also possible to vary the transverse width of the fibrillated shape 7 by regulating the amount of expansion and contraction of the guide members 12, 12. |
