PURPOSE:To make the device small in size, and to attain a reduction of its cost by executing a rise of a semiconductor switching element for dissipating a charge of a toner on a recording electrode or injecting a charge of the opposite polarity, by an optical scan to a photoelectric conversion means whose photodetecting surface is a concave surface. CONSTITUTION:A photodetecting surface of a photoelectric conversion means A which is brought to an optical scan by a rotary polygon mirror 13a is formed to a concave surface shape, a transparent electrode 24 is placed in the concave surface side, and the center of curvature of the concave surface is made to coincide with a reflecting point of the rotary polygon mirror 13a. When the modulated light corresponding to a picture signal is reflected by the rotary polygon mirror 13a, the reflected deflecting light moves at a speed being proportional to a deflection angle on the photoelectric conversion means A. By a photoelectric current generated in this case, a semiconductor switching element 10 is raised, a charge of a toner on a recording electrode 2 is dissipated, or a charge of the opposite polarity is injected, and this toner is made to stick to a recording paper by an attracting Coulomb's force. |
