The separate regulator circuit contains a hot water pipe from a heating boiler, a housing contg. the heat sensor (20) connected to the hot water pipe, a return pipe running from the sensor housing back to the boiler, and a throttle valve fitted in the return pipe. The throttle valve is controlled by a room thermostat so that if a temp. appertains which is lower than that set for the room it opens, allowing hot water to circulate in the regulator circuit. This causes the sensor to expand, activating the shunt valve (1) so that the proportion of hot water in the radiator circuit increases. The shunt valve comprises a body (5) formed as an upwardly open cylinder with closed bottom end, and having a row of through apertures (6). On the valve body exterior, the apertures are joined to each other by a ring channel. |
