The heat-exchanger is particularly in the form of a water radiator for an engine. It has a finned tube block whose tube ends fit in the bottom plates of water tanks, particularly of plastics. Elastic channel-section side members fit round the ends of the block and are clipped into position. The members (6) have locking hooks (7,8) at both ends (6c,6d), engaging in recesses in the ends of the bottom plates. One hook at least can be a spring one snapping into engagement, and one can form a fixed stop.
