PURPOSE:To prevent a document missed to be collected from mixing into current documents by providing plural trays and tray selecting means for discharging the document selectively into any one of said trays. CONSTITUTION:When there is a document 17 missed to be collected on the document table 3, the document carrying belt 13 is rotated to discharge the document in the direction of paper discharge tray. Upon arrival of said document 17 at the position of detecting sensor 9, a branch board 12 is operated upward to release a second document discharge tray 11 thus to discharge said document 17 into a second document discharge tray 11. Upon elapse of predetermined time, the branchboard 12 is moved downward to release the first document discharge tray 10. Upon finish of copying process, the document set on the document table 3 is discharged into a first tray 10. In such a manner, the document missed to be collected can be discharged into the second tray 11 when a first document is fed from a current document feed tray 5. |
